both in Southern Oregon. I have to have the water, I can't live my life without hearing the waves, that noise, it's part of me, it's in my heart and soul.

I've been to both. I like the beach the best when it comes to having fun. But the mountains are more beautiful by far.

Thats tough, vacation at both in the summer. I guess if I had to pick one, it'd be the mountains, quiet little cottage by a lake, thick forest, deer,fishing anytime you want, day or night! oh wait I love the beach. Hot sand in between my toes, beautiful blue water, swimming, fishing, I dont know, I cant pick. Okay, I'll take the mountains. That was a tough decision! Youre making me think too hard for friday night! =)

I will take the mountains over the beach any day. It is like a piece of Heaven-so mystical, fresh and peaceful.

beach. grew up in RI and FL. lived in NM. the mountains where nice for a bit of a change, but i missed the beach soooo much. i have to be around water. btw i'm back in FL. 10 miles from the beach.

i would have to say both for different reasons because the beach is very calming and relaxing and i love listening to the waves. and the mountains is also peaceful and calming and i love the fresh air
