Although America still exists in name, what year do you believe America as a great nation ceased to exist? Since the US peaked in every aspect during 1969 can the year be set during the 1980's? Do you believe the US will ever return to greatness in your lifetime?

When we speak up against the socialist elements in our society (Not take away their freedoms, just reveal their efforts), then we might have a good start on it.

It is over. The U.S.A. is done. Once, a great country and world power, we are now flooded by millions of illegal aliens and the current political regime refuses to enforce Immigration laws. The citizens have refused to be loyal and buy only U.S. products, which has caused the loss of our industrial base. The Japs are loyal to their own kind, and their own country, always buying their own products first. Also, Japan has the great advantage of being only one race, Japanese. The U.S.A. is now a hopeless and helpless nation composed of diversified races, all divided and pulling against each other. Remember, a divided house will fall. The U.S.A. today is a nation of minimum and low wage jobs, with millions needing to work two or three jobs simply to pay the rent and all the other bills. We now have the highest home foreclosure rate since World War Two. Our chief industries are lawn cutting , window washing, and burger flipping. The U.S.A. spends more money that any other country on so-called medical care, and we have the worst health on the planet. Several hundred thousand people needlessly die every year due to the poor quality medical treatments, malpractice procedures, and toxic pharmaceutical drugs. Our interstate highway system is obsolete and crumbling, while we have squandered billions of dollars on a war to dispose the leader of a sovereign nation. The congress of the U.S. does not represent the people, rather is bought (via lobbying, bribery) by corporate criminals, and controlled by huge criminal cartels such as the pharmaceuticals. U.S.A. is now a name only area, populated by polarized ethnicities and races. It ended sometime during the past 15 years. The U.S. dollar is virtually worthless, and if China and Japan should suddenly redeem all the U.S. Treasury notes they are holding, that would constitute an economic/financial collaspe.

The greatness of the United States still exists although it began to deteriorate some once so many people became so damn politically correct. Everyone is so worried about hurting people's feelings and upsetting someone that no one can act like a real human being anymore. All our politicians.....on both sides......speak in monotone generic statements and nothing can ever get done.

i believe america ceased to be a great nation with the carter administration in 1976 and his bumbling, incompetent, ineffective, effete, and self-loathing manner and style. this nation suffered a blow to its ego and reputation that was not salved until ronald reagan came into office in1980 recovering the hostages from iran and rescuing our collective psyche in the process. sadly, the reagan legacy for me, is one of fending off relentless attacks by the left that continued even during his funeral. i do think we can recapture our former greatness once again, but it will take tremendous effort on the part of an informed citizenry, to remove the enemy within, as micheal savage calls them, and who i call simply, liberals.

Hmm... 1913, at the latest 1933.

FDR's socialist agenda killed the nation.

An interesting exercise is to read the planks of the Marx/Engels Communist Manifesto and compare it with Federal programs.

human beings love conspiracies. The humorous ingredient approximately them, is the full premise is predicated on the theory that they could't be shown, yet human beings have self belief them besides. Sound standard?
