He was out of control to be sure but we have no clue of the circumstances prior to the call. No matter the circumstances, he verbally abused his child. There is no way to defend his behavior. I feel bad for the daughter. She is caught in the middle of a battle in which it seems that neither parent cares for the well being of the child.

Why would anyone want to defend him for talking to his daughter like that? What a jerk. Politics aside the guy is a jerk plain and simple.

of course they will... they'll make excuses for him. say that we need to "help" him and get "therapy" for him. they'll claim it's someone else's fault. they'd even blame the kid first.

he's a spokeshole for their causes, they will defend him no matter what. but had this been a conservative...whoa, they'd want him fired, jailed, killed, etc. liberals are total hypocrites.

Who cares what he does? He was supposed to have forfeited his citizenship and moved to another country 7 years ago. What's holding him up?
