Cho Seung Hui's parents committing suicide? That's just a rumor, right?

It was just a rumor, they came out talking and they apologized for their son. They also gave their condolences to all the victims families. I read it on Yahoo.

I have not heard that. His sister did make a statement to the news though. As we can well imagine, this must be horrible for them also. Can you imagine realizing someone in your family did something like this........wow.......sorrow, guilt, what ifs and so on and so on.
Given the nationality, this is a rumor that could have been true.
My parents were friends with a family from Vietnam, and their son did something that he considered shaming his family, and he did commit suicide.........tragic and sad.
PS: Wow Chai, wouldn't that be sad if his family had to have police protection. I can see it happening though.

I hope its just a rumor. those poor people, it wasn't there fault. i actually heard they were under police protection

It was in a Korean newspaper, but has never been confirmed, so I assume it is not true.
