It's hard to say at this early date the list of candidates is endless. Last I heard you had to take a number there was so much competition for the position. Does this mean the President is abdicating his power as Commander in Chief?

lol, what is funny is that Bush actually thinks that there is someone on this planet stupid enough to volunteer to be his scapegoat. Look what happened to Rumsfeld, Rummy was by no means competent, but the Bush crowd basically cut him off like a tumor prior to the election.

Next its going to be Gonzolez, he's gonna quit over this attourney firing buisness. Next thing you know it will be Rove jumping ship. Bush will probably make it to the end of his presidency, but as the lamest of the lame ducks.

Nobody wants the job. Personally I thought that the President was supposed to be the Commander in Chief of the Armed forces. It's Bush's job, he's admitting he can't handle it.

I have it on good authority that John F. Kerry is considering the post. No one can argue with his war experience and it is as close to the Oval Office as he will ever come.

Do you think the word is out? Maybe he won't find anyone willing to be a scape goat. Dubya may have to take the blame all by himself or with Cheney on this war.
