Madonna. No question. While I don't agree with everything she has done there is no way Britney has half the talent that Madonna has, let alone the flair for self-promotion.
I don't think we will ever see another top-selling album from Britney again and she will fade into trailer trash obscurity like so many other teeny-bopper singers who couldn't make the transition to real singer once their baby fat disappeared.
