I think you mean 14 inch diameter for the first one...
14 inch diameter means 7 inch radius
Area of that pizza is (7^2)(pi) = 49pi
cost per unit = 12/49(pi) = 0.07795
10 inch diameter means 5 inch radius
Area of one pizza is (5^2)(pi) = 25pi
so two pizzas is 50pi
cost per unit = 12/50pi = 0.07639
So, it's slightly cheaper to buy the two 10-inch pizzas

I assume that you mean a 14" pizza for the first part.
Figure the cost per unit area.
14" diameter = pi*7^2 square inches/$12
=pi*49/12 = 12.828 square inches / $1.00
Two 10" pizzas for $12.00
= 2*pi*5^2/$12
= 2*pi*25/12 = 13.090 square inches/$1.00
The two 10" pizzas for $12 is a better deal than the 14 inch pizza for $12.

Depends on what you mean by better. If you mean more for your money, then the 2 10-inch pizzas are the better deal (more pizza per dollar).
If common sense doesn't prove it to you, math will.
The area of the pizza is calculated by the formula
pi x radius ^2 (radius is half the diameter).
So the 4-inch pizza is about 12.5 square inches.
The 10-inch pizza is about 78.5 square inches. 2 of them would be 157 square inches of pizza.
So which is better: 12.5 for $12, or 157 for $12?

An 18-ince diameter pizza has an area of pi*81 (pi * r squared), or about 255 sq. inches. Divide that by 16, and each slice has an area of about 15.9 sq. inches. Peace.

Uh, you meant 14, right?
Two 10" is better, but it's really close. 200/196 = about 2% more pizza.

If you mean 14-inch (and that their thicknesses are equal), compare areas.
Area is proportional to square of diameter.
one 14 => 196
two 10 => 200 > 196, a better buy

n10. A 4 inch would be like the size of a lunchable. A 10 might pass for a small personal pan or just a small.

If all other things (like taste, toppings, etc) are equal, 2 10" pizzas are better. Otherwise, insufficient info to answer.
