The only reason we're *not* winning in Iraq is because we're trying to appease the left. *If* we would have went in there with a stronger force and quit trying to fight a politically correct war, our troops would have been home by now.
Does it piss you off that the majority of the military supports what we're doing in Iraq, or are one of those delightful types that thinks poorly of the very same type of people who have protected your right to sit at home and talk smack? There are quite a few countries in this world where you would be in deep **** for saying the crap you do. You should have a lot more respect for the men and women who are willing to sacrifice *everything* for the rest of us. You may not agree with this war, but I look at it this way. I have not been to Iraq, and I have not had to watch my friends die. Since so many in our military *have* been to Iraq and *have* watched their friends die, I'm more inclined to believe *their* version of events. Not the biased media - they're only in it for money. Not the politicians - they're only about power. Certainly not anyone who refuses to appreciate the sacrifices that have been made on *their* behalf....but the TROOPS themselves.
Have a nice evening.

Is winning the war a bigger body count. If that is it for you we have won. If winning the war is no surrender we have won. If the standards and the bar is set that low we have won. If the minds of the people are important we are not even close. If the corruption of our machine to rebuild the country is the measure we are a world away. If the understanding of their culture must count for something we have fallen short.
In this country when I first laid eyes on the twin towers I would have bet all the money I had that it was a radical Oklahoma type bomber. We have problems here it is true but as long as we keep the attention over there we will never know the unrest here. I haven't heard Imus all week but I have heard about Cho. Sometimes I think Government hires magician to keep us just guessing what will happen next.

Glad to see you back Neddie for starters. I believe Bush is just loading his pockets up war profiteering, he already said he would leave Iraq for future Presidents to solve. Bush knew from the start that Iraq wasn't going to be a push over. Bush Senior had more sense than Jr. to call a victory in the first war and get out. I have Internet television and I have been watching all of the News events all a long these last 4 years. I also use Google Earth to see Baghdad. Baghdad is destroyed and unlivable as most of the rest of the Country. Anyone can use this feature and see for themselves. Rupert Murdock has been using the media that he owns (which is 90% of it) to slant the Liberal media lie and censor the truth from Americans. Our Nation whether most people know it or not is isolated right now with the Patriot Act and a NO FLY POLICY. Most Americans would never know this unless they tried to use a visa to leave the Country. I have Rupert Murdock OUTFOXED video you should watch if you haven't over the media propaganda machine.

No more than the illusion many have that we are losing. All I can say is I have several friends over in Iraq right now that cannot understand why so many people think we are losing. They KNOW we are winning and will win but it will come at a great cost and not easily. Why do we not hear of the thousands of Iraqi's volunteering to be policeman or serve in the military along side our troops? Why do we not hear of our army medical personnel providing medical care and aid to the Iraqi people? Why do we not hear about Iraqi civilians working hand and hand with our troops to build a better future? They know its happening because they do it every day. Yet no one cares to report it.

Wow. What college district is that? Presidnet George W. Bush prosecuted the war in Iraq for countless motives. the only maximum widley understand and least understood, advert to do with weapons of Mass Destruction. maximum individuals think of that the assumption replaced into to pass inot Iraq and discover vats of weaponized botulism or almost finished nuclear instruments. in fact much less concrete--Iraq had made consistent efforts to stymie inspections and had on no account presented an entire accounitng of their WMD components. there have been such components that have been everyday to be in Iraq in 1992 and in 1998, via 2002, the question replaced into what had occurred to those materails--what have been destroyed and how, the place have been they, might desire to any of it extremely is validated? Hussein had additionally given lots help and help to terrorists. We have been engaged in Afghanistan for quite much a 300 and sixty 5 days and it replaced into everyday that al Qaeda contributors have been fleeing--between the secure havens they have been fleeing to replaced into Iraq--partly the invasionwa approximately denying those havens and combating help to different terror communities as nicely suhc as Hamas and Hezbollah.

Goodness sake, when will we be over laying everything that goes wrong at the feet of our Presidents?!
They did it with Former President Clinton, they do it with President Bush. It was silly then, it's silly now.
We DID win the war in Iraq. We are now doing something very different. You may not understand it (I'm not surprised), but as someone whose family escaped Islam in the 1950's, I, for one, am one happy Democrat!
We still need the brakes that patriotic (note, NOT seditious) Democrats serve as, just as we need the drive of the Republicans, but this constant attempt to question the rules of the "checkerboard game" most people seem to think this war is is just silly.
Especially when those of us who've had family in government realize that it's more like a chess game, and the public is still trying to figure out why the players keep moving vertically and horizontally.

Bush believes we are winning the war because we are making corporations rich in the recontruction. That is his main objective. Freedom and Democracy there? He could care less. WMD's, just an excuse. To rid a country of an evil dictator? Whatever. It's all about money...spreading it back to the Corps. He could care-less how many innocent, intelligent, respectable young Americans die for this IDIOTIC war!
