I need to make a graph on excel, frequency V velocity. But when i try to the graph comes out blank. I tried using the scale thing but i dont understand it, and when i try doing it it comes out as 2E+17 .... Frequency has 10 numbers between 20,000-200,000,000,000,000,000 and the other is velocity which has 10 numbers that are all 300,000,000

2E+17 is correct. Be sure frequency is on a log scale. You can probably specify how the numbers are displayed on the graph. It might help to scale the numbers before entering them. For example, enter the frequencies in kilohertz instead of hertz.

The first problem is that the speeds are all about 300,000,000 which means that whatever graphs has to be graphed in that area, but the default is to graph automatically from 0 to the highest amount - so all the graph gets shoved into 1/300,000,000 of the graph. So you have to be sure the range of values (double click axis scale) is from the lowest item to the highest (or nearly so)
The second problem is that the Frequency is far too huge a range to show and scaling won't help. What you have to do is make a new column that is the log of the values and graph that or make a log axis (Double click on the axis, choose the tab for Scale, and adjust.

excel program has a limited parameters or calculations. in a calculator, it would result into an error. same thing for an excel graph. its an awful waste of memory program to graph that big number or to calculate it. instead of doing that, just make the A character, as a symbol or any number you desire to represent 20000000000000000. 2E-/+99 is that maximum for a graphic calculator, beyond that, it will result in an error.

The 2E+17 is just converting it so scientific notation (2x10^17).
You could try cutting off say two sets of 000's, then add something saying the figures are in the thousands/millions
