Most UK ISPs aren't supporting anything to do with Vista right now, they haven't updated their 'scripts' in India yet. ;-)

If all you're doing is plugging the port that is in your modem that usually goes into a desktop into the router instead then you don't need your ISPs help, post more details as to what you're physically doing, the name of your Wireless router and I'm sure someone on here will help you.

Setting up my wireless was simple, straight and forward, I was using a Linksys WRT54G.

Use the wireless systems Wifi programs (mircosoft has a default one) to search for the router, usually it is found by its 'make and model' number. Click on it, you're connected and accessed.

If you're using Intel software it should take you through security settings, setting up WEP protection and should be straight forward.

Vista DOES support wireless broadband, my mate has Vista running on a "Net-Gear" router.

I'd wait till the 1st or 2nd service pack comes out. It's got more graphics on it and is a 64 bit system but there isnt anything out there that requires it yet. I'm morre conserned about security and I'm sure there are a ton of holes to be exploited in it...

Sorry, but boy did you go to the wrong place for help.
AOL is useless when it comes to resolving problems.
You can try Verizon. I'm sure the support wireless broadband. Their service is great also.
Good Luck.

what type of wireless are you referring to? Wi-Fi or 3G EVO?
Wi-Fi could care less about the OS as long as you have a network adapter with driver support for Vista
