She was abuse, tormented, made to do things she despised,
threatened, and forced to watch movies that demeanered her.
I'm a man, I love my wife dearly, but I know women should not be made to do anything they refuse to do, they should have the right to say know, or I'm not comfortable with that. They work hard too, at least my wife does, Were equal, and I respect her, something more women should get. I agree with the verdict.

I don't believe that her actions were at all justified, but I believe that there are far too many men who claim to be Christians--Matthew Winkler probably among them--who aren't treating their wives with the love that Christ would give them. I've started a new site at the first link below addressing exactly this issue.

Another person that thinks death is justified!!! She had a choice just like all the rest no one held the gun up and made her use it!!! Just another example of poor justice in this country!!!! You people keep making excuses for all these killers there is NO excuse!!! Can't anybody want somebody to be responsible for there actions???? When did a man ever have a say so in the court room if she wanted a divorce!!! Especially with kids!!!

I think she lied on the stand & was a great actress. She should have asked for a divorce battled for custody & left the State not shot this man in the back to be left to die. I wouldn't do that to a dog. I'm not qualified to give a sentence.

I am sorry that you fell for her "poor me" act. They say he would not grant a divorce. Since when did both parties have to agree completely? So she would have been in court for a few years, the courts would have given her one eventually. It was all a defense tactic to make everyone feel sorry for her. But let's face it: she shot him in the back like a coward.

I didn't see the entire trial, twelve jurors did. Good enough for me. Hope she gets her kids back soon, too.
