Churchill once said:
"If you're not liberal when you're young, you have no heart. If you're not conservative when you're older, you have no brain."
So what you says has some truth to it, they basically lack morals for the welfare of other human beings other than themselves but according to Churchill that would result in the greater good of themselves only (Conservatives).
You have to decide if you want to save the world and help everyone or stick it out for yourself and screw everyone else.
