We must think about this for a minute.
I found that exact same brand of PC with the same CPU with 256MB of RAM and a 20 GB Hard drive with integrated graphics. No OS and no monitor.
Found this at tiger direct for $110.
Extra 256MB of Pc133 RAM at newegg for $46.
120 GB hard drive at Newegg for $60
Windows XP Professional at newegg for $139.99
15 inch CRT monitor at newegg for $105.99
Total= $461.98
Difference =$222.98
But this is a better deal in my opinion.
AMD Sempron Processor 1.8GHz Barebones kit with motherboard and case $99.
120 GB hard drive at Newegg for $60
18x DVD Burner with lightscribe $35.99
1GB of RAM for $69.99
Windows XP Professional at newegg for $139.99
15 inch CRT monitor at newegg for $105.99
Total = $510.96

With such a low spec, that PC has no use whatsoever.
The Dell Dimension C521 worth more than that.
You get AMD Sempron™ 3400+ CPU
Genuine Windows Vista™ Premium
19 inch E197FP Analog Flat Panel
1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz- 2DIMMs
160GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache
16x DVD+/-RW Drive
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Integrated Graphics GPU
For only $669
You have a great day.

Its o.k. for a pawn shop or something. Ditch the monitor, 15in is use less. I found a 20in monitor at a Goodwill store for $20, it works great. Pentium 3 part kind of sucks too, you can get a pentium 4 system from dell for very little more. I would say the system is worth about $150 tops

I don't know....I really don't think that is to much of a "sweet deal". If you are going to spend that much you would probably be better off saving just a little bit more and buying a low end computer from Dell. Even a new low end system would most likely be more powerful than this one. Plus this one could have viruses or other problems that would slow it way down and would not allow you to use it to its full potential. Plus you probably wouldn't be able to upgrade this computer very much more than it already is.
If I were you, I'd just save up and buy new, it would be better in the long run. I would only purchase it if you were getting it from someone you know, and even then, I still don't think I would buy it.
Hope that helps you some! :)

"The freshman Democratic senator received a discount. He locked in an interest rate of 5.625% on the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage at a time when such loans in Chicago averaged as much as 6%. The loan was unusually large, known in banker lingo as a "super super jumbo." Obama paid no origination fee or discount points, as some consumers did to reduce their interest rates." Wow! He got almost a half percent knocked off, even though he had not been in his job that long. I used to work for a bank and how log you had had your job was big no matter how much money you had. Also, another answerer quoted the article on how the bank said the Obama loan followed procedure. Yah, because if they didn't follow procedure they would admit it right?! I think not. It just goes to show you just how elitest Obama really is.

That's typically worth less than $150, higher if with genuine OS (w/ CD & code key). That PC would still be useful for office apps, browsing, downloading BUT not for new games.
