The two powerful rulers that work together to govern the civilizations around the world. A King/Government and a God/Religion Leader who will not survive without the help of other that is why there are always a government and religion leaders in every country. A king is created to govern the behaviours of the civilization and a God is invented to control the thoughts of the civilization. A King has strong physical power to control the civilization, but they do not have the power to control individual thoughts, therefore God is invented to govern the thoughts of people 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even while they are dreaming. What is your opinion on this critical thought?

It sounds like communism and a totalitarian society. Not any place I would want to live. It sounds like the society in the book Anthem, a lousy place to live.

i think the thought is on the mark you might want to add that priests set them selves up as intermediaries and claim that only through them can legitimate pairings occur and that anyone who does not go to before a priest before a pairing then the child they have will be illegitimate then you should ask how can they say that when the child is clearly theirs. mention this as another form of control. also mention a king who claimed divine right for himself King Henry the viii as to control in dreams they might at that certainly i have read of religious leaders saying decisions came to them in a dream or stories about dreams people have of meeting god or the awe a meeting with god entails in but not only kings or religious leaders sometimes the leader does both in the book Dispelling the Myth of Fighting the Good Fight an American President is said to have had a dream in which God told him to send the U.S. Army to the Philippines

My opinion is that you are right, this thought is critical. Gods are created to serve the purposes of Kings. There are Gods of thought all through our civilisations, and the civilians worship that which governs their thoughts as though it were God.

This is not necessarily so in dreams, though. A person can reclaim their truth in dreams, the freedom of dreams can help us to reclaim our inheritance in this dream we call waking life. What we know as a dream is a place where the king can't walk, and neither can his invented god threaten the freedom and worthiness of the individual to control his thoughts.

But all in all, I think you are right, I think you speak rightly against idol worship. ;)

Religion wouldn't control all the people's thoughts all the time, and the king and religious leader would certainly come into conflict at some point.

Gods and governments are perhaps the two single most destructive ideas mankind has ever come up with. Individual men can do bad things, but it is only with the authority and support of these two institutions that men can do truly grand and heinous acts, affecting millions. Look at the history of the world going back as far as recorded history goes, and you will see I am right. Look at most of the world's problems, and you will see they have their roots in govt. and/or religion.

What about Plato's "Republic", where each citizen contributes his talents to the community and government is based upon logic?
