How many times as a child did your mother or father say that to you or one of your brothers or sisters?
Since I am 1 of 8, I heard it a lot.

I don't think I ever heard it. Mom didn't give any warning at all. Wham!. Took a minute to even figure out where it came from.

I have heard a few times because I am an only girl with an older and younger brother... Us two oldest picked on the youngest and usually the one picked on more is the strongest but not in this case

Ya know, I have no idea why this is how it was but my father never ever hit us kids but we just knew he was the main boss and if he said "good night" at bedtime, then it was good night. No laughing, fighting or the like. Well, being the middle child I may have heard it once or twice. lol. Thanks for the memories.

It must have been at least 3 times a week until I was 17 then I was never home until my parents went to bed..

As far as I know, my mother NEVER ascended the stairs and came into my room. Never threatened to either.

I heard it a lot, too, but until I heard commotion, someone actually getting their @$$ off the couch, I wasn't worried.

Every morning when trying to get us up for school.There was 5 of us.
