Ineed to reclaim some space and i'm told downloaded music takes up a lot of it.

if you have a DVD burner you could burn CD's with it also. However if you don't have a CD or DVD burner then NO you can't. You really should get at least a CD burner so that you can back up your important files. Hard drives don't last forever and you'll kick yourself one day if your hard drive dies and you don't have a backup copy of you files.

No you can not copy it to a CD without a burner. They cost like $10.

You can copy it to a CD as data that you can copy over to a computer with a CD Burner, but you can't burn files playable on a stereo.

Well technically you cant, but a lot of computers have them now. If you right click the song and click "send to: (disc drive)" you might be able to copy it to the CD in the drive.

Your CD drive might say CD writable or something on the outside of it

i don't be attentive to at what fee you're getting it yet i think of you will desire to get a on the spot b/g/n adapter so i think of the toshiba satellite tv for pc p305 is physically powerful for you with a value between 900-1100$.

yeah you can copy it to a mp2 player or if you have a portable hard drive you can transfer the songs to that instead of an mp3 player thats what i used when my pc is overloaded:)
