Just bought an expensive swiss-made wrist watch , it's got a very classic look. Should I wear it only with suits and formal wear?. Maybe I Should get another "sporty" watch for casual clothes?

Changing a watch for reasons of style impresses me as being the epitome of pointlessness. You bought a nice watch for the purpose of wearing it; go ahead and do so.

You can wear your classic metal wrist watch with anything you want, although if you are afraid of damaging it, or will be participating in sports/activities, it's better to opt for something more casual.

It's a personal choice, if you're not afraid of scratches, or losing it.. etc.. all depends on its value too.

Watches are after all an accesory, they can compliment an outfit and be assorted with different styles.

I would say enjoy the watch...it will pull casual style up to a new level. Just don't wear it when playing sports or you could damage it.

i wear the same watch 365 days a year. I don't change it for any reason. however, it would be nice to have a dressier metal watch, because my black leather band, and silver face swiss army watch looks weird when I dress up.
