Great question! This not a bash on Kobe whatsoever.. Wade's game is very similar to Jordan's game. Wade has very big hands like Jordan, and this is why he's able to drive the lane so often. With big hands, it gives a player many more options. Wade has, and Jordan had, so much ball control when they were driving to the basket. So instead of cupping the ball, like I do for example, he can easily palm it and have control of the ball. I'll explain.

Kobe's game has become much more of a perimeter game. Since Shaq left, the lanes aren't quite as open as before. I'm not bashing kobe, but if you notice that when he does drive the lane, which he does rarely in comparison to his days with Shaq, when he goes up he cups the ball. When you cup the ball, it not only gives you less ball control but also lessens your reach by 5 or 6 inches on the avg. I mentioned this in an earlier post. Take a mini basketball and you'll be able to drive on guys all day. Now put an NBA basketball in your hand and it's a totally different story. This explains why Wade's points in the paint separates him from Kobe in FG%. His FG% over the last 2 seasons is around 4% higher than Kobe's. If you remember, many of Jordan's points came in the paint.

Also, before Wade's injury he was averaging 1.3 Blocks per game. And in his 2nd season he averaged 1.1 Blocks per game. Jordan averaged 1.6 Blocks per game one season, and averaged over a block per game 4 times in his career. Wade, who is 6'3.5-6'4 plays much bigger than his size, and so did Jordan in his day.

Another thing is FG%. Last yr Wade had a FG% of .495, and before his injury this season his FG% was .494. Jordan's liftetime average is .497. Jordan shot over 50% from the floor 6 times in his career, from the Guard position. Kobe's career high in FG% is .469, so in regards to FG% Wade has a much higher percentage.

Lastly, is Wade's steals on the defensive end. Kobe has only averaged over 2 steals per game once in his career. Wade has averaged over over 2 steals per game for the last 2 seasons. Jordan averaged over 2 steals per game 10 times in his career.

On the whole, Wade's game is the closest to Jordan's game.

Wade is also a great distributor of the ball. Ppl fail to remember that Jordan averaged over 8 Assists per game one season, with only 3.6 Turnovers. His Assist to Turnover Ratio was over 2 to 1. Before Wade's injury he was averaging 7.9 Assists per game, and just over 4 TO's per game. His Assist to Turnover Ratio was 1.94 before he went out this season. And Wade has led Kobe in Assist to TO ratio for the last 2 seasons as well.

*** First, I'm not sure who gave me a thumbs down.. In any event, I'm not trying to be argumentative but if you think that Kobe's game is more similar to Jordan's than Wade's game is, you're not paying attention. I'm not talking about who's better or worse. The fact is that Wade plays in a more similar style to Jordan when he plays. Even Kobe himself on Inside the NBA last yr said that he and Jordan's games are different.

There is none! Kobe is a million miles from jordan. Jordan singled handedly gave Chicago all them titles. Without Shaq Kobe cannot lead his team out of a paper sack, He's a one dimensional player. If the season had 10 more games the lakers would have missed the playoffs. Lebron, Wade, Nash and Dirk are total players. Kobe is not in the same league. His days of being a valuable player are almost gone. One selfish player cant take a team anywhere today. Without Shaq Kobe would not have a single ring. No question about it. He's a cocky, selfish, arogant rapist. He's lucky the Lakers have the opertunity to get their heads smashed by Phoenix. They should be going home.

Michael Jordan was a great player. Kobe's close to that. Lebron james is good. But Jordan led his team to 6 world championships. Now that's what made him great. WHo knows if Kobe,Dwade of James or whoever will ever get that far.

Wade. He has been instrumental in making his team better. That, and his finesse are similar to Jordan, but his numbers are lower.
Bryant is phenomenal and has finesse equal or better than Jordan-but too little teamwork.
James is every bit as important to his team as Jordan was to his. But James is more power while Jordan was more finesse.

I think they all have an aspect of Jordan's game, though none embody it like Jordan.

Lebron don't finish close games
Wade only plays well because of the no hand check rule in nba right now, if you take out those fouls, he got nothing and is not as good as Lebron and Kobe anyway
Kobe is too selfish, but other than attitude problem, Kobe is as close to Jordan as you can get

I think kobe bryant is because he is so alike jordan in a lot of ways, they are both extremly good outside shooters and also love to drive to the basket, and the thing about kobe and jordan is not only do they put their teams on their backs they loved to do it and never failed to do it.

LeBron James or Kobe Bryant or Dwayne Wade

I'd have to say Dwayne Wade. He's one the top 5 (if not the best) clutch players in the NBA both offensively and defensively. He has that same killer instinct Jordan had.

I know you want me to say Kobe, but I refuse. He doesn't have the assists the MJ had. If I had to say somebody, it would have to be either Lebron James or D-Wade. I've seen Jordanesque performances from both of them and I'm sure Wade will add a couple more rings and Finals MVP's to his trophy case before his career is over.

In terms of achievements and stats...Probably gotta say Kobe.

In time, I think Lebron will turn out to be the most like Mike. Marketable enough for McD's and capable of killing you on the court.
