I was searching in yahoo's search engine and yahoo answers was at the bottom. I shrugged it off the first couple of times, but then one day I clicked on it and thought thats pretty cool. Then I did some more question looking (no answering yet) Then I saw a question I wanted to answer and I've been hooked ever since. 1 month anniversary on the 27th! lol

Was Googling trying to find some info about a medicine and getting nowhere fast. Google threw up a link to a previous answer on here that didn't really suffice so I asked my own, was amazed by the speed and knowledge of the answers I got and as everyone else has said have been hooked ever since!

I used the Yahoo search engine and it came up with zilch, and it told me to ask the question at YA instead.

Nobody knew the answer ... I guess I'll never find out now.

Despite this lack of success, I'm still here for some reason.

I was researching ethanol & quite accidentally "Asked" a question.
(I thought I was on 'GOOGLE' or something)

Well all of a sudden I was getting answers emailed to me!
How cool was that !?!?

That was 10 months ago ! LOL !!! Now I'm addicted !
I would much rather answer questions than do housework when I'm at home! & when I'm at work,( if I'm not with a customer), I sometimes sneak in an answer or 2.

Yahoo is my home page and also where I have my e-mail. I clicked on a link for YA just out of curiosity, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I kept noticing the green word, "Answers", on the home page every time I checked my email. One day curiosity drove me to click on the link. I was hooked after the first question!!!
