The reason why you dislike it is because you've proably been in love and got your heart broken am I right? That could turn someone away and make them hate being in love because they believe that they'll never be in love and find their one true love again. I'm where you are actually. I've been in love twice and both times it's failed and I'm kind of disliking it now but not competely but that is why I believe you dislike it. You proably have gotten your heart broken by the one who you were in love with by them not feeling the same way or they did at one time in your relationship and then came out and confessed that they weren't in love with you anymore and didn't want to be with you anymore. That's what I think anyways. I don't know you personally so I don't know your life story or your love story so I'm not sure but that's my guess on it.

Because most of the time, love hurts. "All is fair in love and war". Love is being compared to war! An internal, painful war. You don't always get whatever you want. And most of us are heartbroken at least once in our lives.

Love gives you chills, goosebumps, clammy hands, racing heartbeats, quick breathing, weird stomach feelings, and dazed, confused emotional feelings.

Last time I checked, weren't those the side-effects of some anti-depressant?

Those are the side-effects of one of the things that gives meaning to life: love.

It sounds like you have never been in 'real' love. Or you probably would not dislike that rare precious gift.

Because you like to be in control, and you feel emotionally out of control when you're in love.

Love can be hell. It hurts, it makes you happy and sad at the same time.
