I need to start a rumor. I won't go into great detail, but in the situation it's either spread a rumor or be publicly humilated. I have tried everything else, and this is my last resort. So how to I spread a rumor.
PS: If you can't answer the question and you just want to say something like "don't do it" please don't post.

if you want to start a rumor tell whoever you know that gossips the most, but if you don't want it to be known that you're the one that started it, writing something in a bathroom stall works too. If your school is anything like mine everyone will know about it soon.

Simple, go to the nosiest person you know, the person who gossips the most, and the arch enemy of whoever you're going to spread a rumor about. If you go to all three the rumor will spread three times as fast.

Well you can do it the old fashioned way and go up to someone, make something up and it'll spread. Or you could do somtheing creative like write a note with a terrible secret about that person and sort of drop it/or put it in the way of the person with the Biggest Mouth.

Find the biggest gossip in your social circle, and casually mention that you heard from someone or other that this person is blah blah blah. Try not to specify a name, make it sound that a lot of people knows about it and is discussing it. Then sit back and watch the wildfire take a life of its own.

Just start calling people up.. Think of the people you know with the biggest mouths and tell them. Once I even looked up someones phone number in the phone book just to tell them some gossip because I knew if they found out everyone would know... but I regreted it big time later

I wish I knew more. So call a few people and they will of course tell others. You can never get back or change it and it will be on your conscience I think, unless you are de sensitized to the truth. I wish you well and hope that you get through this hard time.

tell all ur friends that u know cant keep a secret. then it will spread and then more and more and then before u know it the whole school knows! its not that hard! news spreads fast! good luck and try not to get caught! lol

wow its sounds like your in a pickle, well although you shouldnt be doing it if you got to got to then tell the person you know who has the biggest mouth and is sure to tell someone all you have to do is say it and then say oh but dont tell anyone and thats it it will spread like quick fire, but be smart about it or ull get burnt

If you want to start a rumor start with one person that you know is a gosip bag and it will take off like wild fire.
