When your bill comes, it will show past use and current.Hopefully, you had an idea of water usage before you bought. This doesn't guarantee a steady bill either, if there is a leak in the pool. It is a very small amount per gallon in my area for water. However, there will be a constant use and refilling, etc. I add about 2-3 hundred a year onto the pool budget just to cover rising prices, and if I have to drain and fill or if it is a very hot season. Your bigger cost will probably be the electricity for your pump etc.

My budget for the pool averages about $1200.00 per year. ( And we are tight-azzs)

Well just call the water company you have or will sign up with. They will tell you. Usually it is pretty expensive to fill, but you wont have a bill like that again. each bill will be a lil more than you are used to since you will have to refill the pool every once in awhile when it lowers. But it is totally worth it....:)
