I am 36 weeks pregnant and my doctor told me tums. It doesn't do a whole lot but its better than nothing. I wouldn't take anything with out asking your O.B. Some med's have ingredients that could be bed for your baby. My doctor says the only OTC med's I can take is tums, Extra strength Tylenol, and sudafed. Other that that, ask your O.B.

Tums are ok to use...I used a perscription (protonix) when I was pregnant because OTC stuff never helped me.
