My ancestor was found dead in Grove Park Lake, Roundhay in 1904 from his death certificate. Does it still exist or is it part of Roundhay Park?

I was brought up in Roundhay and am 99.9% sure that there's nowhere called Grove Park.

Roundhay Park has two lakes - Waterloo Lake which is the larger and at the bottom end of the park near Wetherby Road and where the open air swimming pool used to be, the other is Upper Lake which is at the top end of the park and close to the Mansion House.

The only other lake in the area is one in Gledhow Valley Woods but that's in Gledhow as opposed to Roundhay.

For there to be a lake you'd expect there to be a stream and the only streams in the area are the ones that feed the lakes in Roundhay Park and in Gledhow Valley.
