I would not take well to my favorite artist killing someone...
I would not think of them as "strong" for that...
I stopped listening to a few artists that I really liked because they either:
A) went all over-board with the Jesus thing...
B) became a little too ok with guns and violent lyrics.
The Hip Hop Forefathers are spitting nails right now because of all of the newbies that make awful "music" that sensationalize all the things that keep black folks down...

No, it's better to drive past a house marked for a hit at thirty mph with eleven uzis hanging out of a window and then happen to miss everything but a 6-year-old girl a couple of feet away. Yup, nothing more fashionable or braver than that.

no one ever remembers the murderer's name in those situations anyway, look at freaky tah. they never even caught big l's killer needless the say big and pac, i guess if you kill a major artist you'd get a handshake from all the other jealous hoodlums, if you killed a bunch of nobodies you'd just look like a bloomin fool

wtf. it is not fasionable to kill someone. killing is about gang life not hip hop. their are alot of hip hop superstars who have never killed someone of even been in a gang. it is not fashionable in gang life either is is just a part of living. kill or be killed. survival of the fittest. if someone above you say kill that black kid over there, then you do it or they will turn on you. if they say kill a rap star, then you have to do it unless you want you gang to kick you out or kill you!
