mycat had a kitten and im not sure if shes coming back.what should i do about the placenta?

So ya got some placentas lyin about, you'll need a few things:
1Tbsp Fresh Basil, 1Tbsp Butter, 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil, Tomatoes to garnish.

First drain the placenta of remaining blood. Save the blood for a refreshing bloody mary.
Though the meat should already be tender, it doesn't hurt to mash it up some.
Melt butter in saucepan on medium heat and immediately add the dead baby sack. Cook both sides and gradually add olive oil as butter is used up. Garnish with Tomato.

The placenta is the bag that the kitten is born in. Is it still inside the bag? If not, just discard the placenta. If you have to cut the umbilical cord, do not cut it too close! Cut it about an inch away or more from the kitten's tummy.
