My computer shuts down at least once a day.?

A window pops out saying: This shut down is being initiated by NT. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Virus or Malware - blaster virus does this. Get some antivirus software. Try the Malicious software removal tool - http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx

It may be overheating. If its a desk top, take the cover off to have more ventilation and let it run for awhile to see if its still shutting down.
