i'm one of the most popular girls in my school, and everyone wants to be my friend. I hate that. If i dont know you, leave me the hell alone! Being popular is so hard at time ya know? but i do feel important. Is that bad?

The reason you're popular is because people like you, so that's why people want to be your friend...i know it might seem like they're using you to be popular or something, but if you're cool enough to be so popular, maybe they just want to be friends with you cause you're cool! i understand that it might frustrating, because you don't know who is just trying to get "in" with everyone else, and who is just trying to be your friend. The best thing you can do is to be patient. There will come a time when you'll find out who your true friends are, and if those ppl who are sucking up to you don't want to be your friend when you NEED a friend -- then you don't need them anyway bc you've got all the friends you need!
it's not a bad thing to realize that ppl like you. and it's not bad to be frustrated with the ppl around you. but if they're sincere, and they're not just around you bc they want to be popular, give them a chance, it couldn't hurt. you talking to them could make their day -- they could be having a really bad day. the thing you have to understand is that although you are so happy with who you are and all the friends you have, there are other people who look up to you and want to be that happy. you ignoring them or being too important for them can make them both upset and confused. just be honest and try to think of it from both sides!

Honey, it's not bad to feel important. But it is bad to not feel what others who are not so blessed are feeling. And the school years are different from any other time in your life. When you get out of school you are in for a rude awakening if you do not see yourself as just like everybody else. Because after school, your popularity will be gone...and if you still act like a conceited child ,life is going to get very, very difficult for you. Take this time to be grateful for your life....cause life never stays the same...and what goes around comes around....and I guarantee you that there will be a time in your life when you will be on the bottom and you will know what it feels like. I trully believe in karma....and how you are treating others now....will be dealt to you sometime. Remeber Jesus said that 'what you do to the least...you do to me'

If you're "popular" and everyone wants to be your friend, its because they want to seem important, they are using you, basically, everybody is.
Why would you post a question if you don't care what we think? That's so hypocritical.
Conceited? Yes, you do seem like it. That's a good thing to you? It's not. It's horrible.
People will think SOOO low of you, like I said, they're probably using your status.

School is hard for everybody. Just remember the golden rule
treat people how you want to be treated. and saying you're conceited tells me that you need to look inside your self and find out who you are. That's all that matters you have to love yourself before you can love anybody else
