Check your local public library. Find a book that's easy for you to understand. Keep checking it out or just buy a copy for yourself. The books are expensive so a library is a great place to start.

"Internet for Idiots" comes to mind.

Internet browser bookmarks work like thier paper namesakes. Bookmarking an Internet website is an easy way to mark a particular website location so you can easily locate it again. In some browsers, bookmarks are called Favorite Places or just Favorites... they all have the same function.

Many Books are available. The best ones I think Is the reference book "PC'S for Dummies", try waterstones or Whsmiths. Later get "Internet for Dummies", both these titles are from the same series, and are widely available

Bookmarks work exactly like normal bookmarks in a book.
They just remember the site for you.
So you can click on the bookmark/favourites tab and see the sites you want the computer to remember for you.

I found this site:
freewebs.com/computertrickz
without the brackets.

just email them and they will tell you everything.

If you have cable internet check out this site

http://www.samspublishing.com/library/library.asp?b=STY_Windows_XP_24hours&rl=1

It' pretty good for Windows XP.

If you don't have cable stop by a local book store and ask the clerk on the latest self help Windows books, there's no many to list. Each one will help you out.

Good luck and have fun
