Banning guns doesnt solve the problem, All it does is take it away from legal citizens and allows criminals to keep them( illegal weapons smuggled) and go human hunting. When will everyone understand that people kill people and guns are just there as a tool. If it wasnt guns , it would be knives. Thoughts

I agree 100%. This happens every time there is a mass killing. I never hear anything though when a car plows through, killing a bunch of people. Or if a plane crashes. It's only when it's a shooting. And I will promise you that I will never get rid of my weapons. Because all that does is makes it easier for the criminals.

I agree with you so very much. BUT the liberals will argue this to the max. I own my guns and they are kept under lock and key. More specifically I have a gun safe for them, so they won't just get stolen if someone breaks into my house. And if someone does break into my house they had better hope and pray that the cops get them before I do. I WILL protect my home and property to the end.
OH and for ZIGGY, If there had been staff on scene who HAD a GUN this idiot would NOT have KILLED 33 people. I can say for a FACT I (if there) would have taken him out.

I grew up in Wyoming. We had nine rifles where my twin and I as teens could get to them all the time. We have no gun incidents at all. And after 20 years in US military service I have never shot to kill a human. What do you gun activists have to say about that?
It's the hotheaded people, not the weapon.

I agree. Small town in Georgia passed a law in 2004 stating all Heads of Households MUST own a gun. Guess what - lowest crime rate in the country now, despite the fact that teh population EXPLODED after the law was passed - and no one has been shot to death yet either... Go figure...
However, in countries like Brazil, where murder is like 22 for 100,000, the major cause of death is stabbings - because people cant afford to buy guns.

when is the last time you have heard of someone stabbing 32 people on a rampage? guns kill. that is the ONLY reason for their existence. if you hunt for sustenance, that is one thing. if you are a collector, ok. what other possible reason could you have for owning a gun?

Fully/Semi automatic guns are anti-personnel weapons.
For sport, bolt action or muzzle loaders are fine... =)
