Thanks very much for the link.

What happened was horrendous and millions of people around the world are shocked and grieve for the families of the dead and injured.

Having sons of my own, I can not imagine how it must feel to know that a child of mine was capable of unleashing such hatred, resulting in the deaths of so many innocent and unworthy targets.

I truly sympathize with the family and what they will have to endure in trying to understand how their son and brother came to take these actions. As a parent I would be horrified. I can only assume I would blame myself.

For the families of the victims, I cry with despair for the lives of the beautiful and talented children, brutally and senselessly taken from them.

I feel so very sorry for the family. I can't even begin to imagine how a mother, a father, and a sister in their predicament will ever find peace in their lives again. It's heartbreaking, just heartbreaking. They will carry the burden of self imposed guilt for the rest of their days, certainly.

I think that it was appropriate to appologize for what he did. I am sure they are going through hell and feeling guilty. Parents don't purposely raise their children to be mass murderers. I do find it odd about the "very close" statement. My family IS very close and we would certainly know if one of our family members were depressed or troubled.

I feel sorry for this family who also lost their son. They are in a lot of pain too, which is very understandable. They have gone into hiding & I can't blame them.

They said he was screwed up even as a small child. They also said that the parents did not know what to do with him.

That seems a little too convenient for me.

I believe they needed to make a statement and now I feel they should be left alone.

I think it's none of our business. They do not deserve the scrutiny of the sleazy press any more than the victims do.

Thanks for sharing, they had some kind word. They’ve been effected by this just as much as any of the victims families, probably even more.
