NZ did what Sri Lanka did on Monday, held back on the trumph card. NZ's explanation was that Bond pulled out with a stomach virus just before the start of the match and Oram has an injured ankle. I really do think that they were trying what Sri Lanka did but Australia really trashed them so bad I think the tactic backfired, cos Australia now has this huge psychological advantage over them, It's gonna take a lot from NZ to bounce back from such a defeat.

I do not understand the reason for not playing him. May be they did not want to risk playing him to avoid any chances of injury before the semi final as today match was not much significant as they have already through to semi final and give him sufficient rest before the semi final..
