The Iranian people are a lot closer in their thinking to Americans then most people realize. They are captives in their own country. I feel bad for The Iranians for the laws and extremists they must endure on a daily basis.

I think they are too fanatical and caught between two worlds. One the world of the rug dealer mentality and the other the world of becoming a modernized country.
Why do they waste time with military aspirations when their country as a whole doesn't have running water and toilets? As far as the Iranian community in America I have found them to be civilized and educated without the characteristics of their motherland.

I believe that the Iranian people are victims of a totalitarian regime that consistently and deliberately misinterprets the Holy Koran in order to keep itself in power.
I believe that the Iranian people are people like any others, but villified unfairly by the actions of governmental officials who ignore the teachings of Mohammed, peace be upon him.

Actually I know many Persians and they are all very nice and good people. So many people judge others by their ethnicity, religion, or race and that's really not fair. There are good and bad in every country

Rich culture. Persian not Arab. Totalitarian theistic regime.
I also know that there have been some brave young people who have protested in favor of representative government.

As having many iranian friends i know not to call them arabs but to call them persians instead. Besides that i dont care if iran has nukes. but in know its not in the best interest of the US to allow iran to have nukes. but i think on this one the US should sit back and let the EU solve.
