I would go for personality every time but I once went out with a guy simply because we got on so well and it didn't work out as there was no attraction there - thats why I think there has to be at least something in the looks department....

Looks will fade, but your personality will stay with you until you die. What is the use of marrying a beautiful dull person, and then having nothing to show for such a shallow commitment when you get older. That's when a man divorces you and gets someone 20 years younger.

Yes personality is the best thing bcause why would you want a good looking man when he is boring. Now unfortunatly people judge people by thier looks but yes personality is better! Then you can laugh and have funa nd who cares what they look like if they are great to be with then seriously who cares.

Looks help with the inital attraction but I guess I think of it this way: A person's looks "grown on you" if they have a great personality. It never happens the opposite way... if you start with great looks and the personality is bad then the looks wear off and you're left with nothing.

Personality is obviously much more important than how someone looks. Beauty comes from within so if someone has a great personality it shows anyway even if their looks are not perfect.

Looks are what attracts me to a person in the first place, if Im not physically attracted to you, then Im not really trying to find out about your personality. I know it sounds bad. For me there has to be an immediate attraction, if I later find out his personality is whack, then he can step.

"Looks" fade, personality stays with you. I do like a nice-looking woman, but give me someone with a great sense of humor, intelligent, can hold a conversation, and is pleasant to be around any day over looks.
