No, but you treat them like they are. Not worth losing the customer over an item they thought they were buying at one price, turned out they misread the Price Tags.

Usually not but it is a good policy to try and treat them as if they are. Most people are rude to salespeople and should think twice about what they want before they start demanding things. Its infuriating when the customers are idiots. Doesn;t make the customer rep's job any easier.
