try picking up the phone and calling your local magistrates office or local sherriffs office and they would be able to tell you and if he did then she should get served by her local sherriffs department with the papers which will have a court date on it...if he did file one the court gives her a date and reasonable time to come and give cause why he shouldnt be granted the restraining order.....

Contact the clerk of court in courthouse in that county and they will be able to tell her whether or not she has a restraining order or not.

She can contact the courthouse in the county that she lives in, or the sheriffs dept. I live in Texas as well, so if I were her, I wouldnt risk it and try to come around him, they will lock you up fast

He should check with the police department in the town it was supposedly taken out in. If he has an attorney, he could have his attorney check on it.

I would think an easy way is to have him show it to her.
She can call the court they would know, but she will get served if there is one.
