Jackie Robinson started out his Dodger career as a first baseman in 1947, then spent the next 5 seasons predominantly as a second baseman. The next three years he split time each year between third base and left field. He rounded out the last year of his career mostly as a third baseman with significant playing time at second base. He even played one game as a shortstop in 1953.

In 1946 he played for the AAA Montreal Royals at shortstop.

In his rookie season the Dodgers had Pee Wee Reese at shortstop and Eddie Stanky playing 2nd base; the only open slot for him in 1947 was at first base.

The next year he moved to 2nd base; playing there for a few years. The last several years he played 2nd base, 3rd base, and left field. He was a very versatile player.

How are you with speed? That could make a huge difference. And I'm assuming you have more lean mass due to the steady diet of hay. Good thing you drink water, hopefully enough because the fiber can cause digestive problems. Of course, you state that you do poop the bull chips wherever you want. Kind of your own personal slip and slide, hmm. Nose Tackle? You could take up a lot of space in the center. Just a thought. Good Luck.

I know when he first came up he played primarily at firstbase. Then he became a secondbaseman. He probably played the other infield positions from time to time.
