Hello. No, money can't buy us happiness... but it can sure make life easier! If I had money, I could get the full health care I need without worrying about getting into debt dealing with the deductible, and if I had money I could travel so many places I've thought about when I was younger. If I had money I'd move to NYC and be closer to my super intellectual brother and stay right in Manhattan soaking it in. Money can do a lot of things, but it won't make us feel comforted when we're frustrated, hurting, or just need some freakin' human companionship to cure the loneliness we may feel. I wish I had enough money to buy me a nice house, get a whole new wardrobe, and do far more with my passion (photography) than I've ever done in my entire existence. Ah yeah.. that would be great. Peace!

Having and spending money CAN alleviate certain things that can make you UNhappy. Like, you can pay for house or apartment, you can have a car, you can fix a car, you can put gas in your car, you can have food, clothes, stuff.
If you have money, the necessities, and stuff... BUT you are physically ill, mentally ill, or a loved one dies... no amount of money will magically make you happy.
If I have money to buy what I need, I am much happier than having NO money, no cereal or milk and only a half tank of gas. But EVEN in that situation... I would be happier than if I discovered I had a disease.
Happiness is relative. Money is relative. Neither is equal.

Money itself usually goes not create happiness, but the ability not to worry about money is the hapineess creator. It also depends on how you create that money? If you work many hours and long days you may make a lot but be miserable (like me sometimes). I am considered well offI guess but I miss being a college kid with like 10 bucks in my account. I was happier!

Not at all. Nigeria is the poorest nation on earth and according to many studies, it is the happiest. If you have money you also have a chance of losing it. If you have nothing things can only get better so you tend to worry less and appreciate the little things more.

Happiness? Yes.
Why? Because happiness is temporary, like money.
Contentment? No.
Why? Because you must be satisfied in order to be content, and anything that money purchases is only good for the short term.
Of course this is all in general conceptions, so there is room for variance.

Happiness is not an object that can be found in a store and therefore bought with money.
However, money allows many people to do the things, or to have things which do make them happy.
If the question were reworded, I would state that money is connected to our happiness.

Money satisfies our desires, but this only masks true happiness and many of us often falls victim to its seductive powers of greed. Happiness, by the American sense, is to achieve the purpose that we have set at the beginning of our lives.

No, but it can certainly buy comfort.
But being poor certainly doesn't guarantee happiness either.
I'd rather be comfortable and miserable than poor and miserable.
