Why or why not?

Frankly it all depends on the individual. To me Coincidence and Destiny stand as alternate/opposing interpretations of the same thing. So would meeting a cute girl like Chrissy and answering her very interesting question be a matter of coincidence?
Nah. I'd say Destiny.

Are you having strange coincidences in your life? I had them when I was in high school, so many that it got me thinking about them just like you.

For example, I would think of someone and would run into them in the street or they would call me. Different coincidences became so frequent it got me questioning whether they are really just coincidental.

Eventually, I learned that like a magnet we attract what we think about most, and also read a nice book on it, which helped me understand that there are no coincidences and that figuring that out helps us realize a new dimension in life, with which one is able to understand further dimensions.

I believe understanding other dimensions of life first starts with noticing ''mysterious'' coincidences. That's my experience. Many of my friends feel the same.

Coincidences are a product of our thinking. This is when two unrelated events are decided by a person in their thinking to have some type of connection.

For example, it can be a coincidence that two people show up late for class, or for work -- when those two people being late having nothing to do with one another.

Of course!

Walking into a grocery store and seeing someone you know is coincidence.

Doing a project on autism and finding out your boyfriend is autistic is coincidence.

Of course, if you mean coincidence as in a completely random event that has nothing to do with anything... well, that isn't really a coincidence, now, is it?

I believe in coincidences... but I believe in fate and destiny more. Some things are meant to happen for a reason, but not everything little thing is, so yes I believe that there are coincidences.

Airplanes have wings and fly. So do Birds. I think that qualifies as a coincidence. If you throw an apple into the air, it will return to the earth. Coincidentally, so do most other, if not all, objects. Yes. I believe in coincidence. This, however, does not excuse fate or destiny. I do not believe that all things happen via coincidence. Coincidentally, I believe that not all things are pre-ordained.

I think things happen for a reason.I believe some things you have no control over. Check my example beloe.

Example:

You were suppose to go say downtown at a certain time but somehow you missed your bus by 5 mins .Than you ran into an old friend [ you haven't seen in years and wondered about] who happened to be heading your way because they happened to be in town and walked in the area because someone else lived near by. Now if you would got on the bus you'd miss the meeting Hmmmm?!?! Coincidence or not, you tell me? If she'd got on the bus it'd never happen.

Well basically in my opinion I think its more or less an accidental meeting or simply your FATE!
As its written for ya to meet this person in this exact timing and this date, does make it a coincidence for YOU, but a FATE in other words.
Why! It's because it was just written and settled for you to do this and do that.
