Yeah if the raiders trade away the first pick, then there is a still a good chance they could land russell or quinn. and if russell and quinn did by chance both go off the board, then that would leave joe thomas, oline help the raider so desparately need, still there to pick. Hopefully if they do trade tampa than hopefully tampa throws in the rights to Jake plummer, and plummer doesnt retire. Then the Raiders can take Drew Stanton Early in the 2nd to be the heir to plummer. Most likely though either the lions or Browns will take joe thomas, leaving one or both of those qbs there for the raiders. Although I hear The lions really like Gaines adam, and I hear the brown's favor brady over Russell, but also they would Take Joe Thomas over both russell and quinn, so there is chance Both qbs could be there when the raider pick at #4.

The Raiders do run a risk that both the Lions and Browns take QBs. However, both the Lions and Browns do have more pressing needs than QB: they can survive with Kitna and Frye respectively. Both the Lions and the Browns could really use an OT like Joe Thomas; the Lions could use a DE like Gaines Adams; and the Browns could use an RB like Adrian Peterson.

But will both teams pass on the chance for a "franchise QB"? And if they aren't inclined to take a QB, is there another team (i.e. the Dolphins) that would trade up past the #4 pick to get a QB?

If either Quinn or Russell is there for the Raiders, I'm guessing they'd take them. Worst case scenario? They get an OT like Joe Thomas whom they really need, or trade down again. And the Raiders could take a QB like Drew Stanton, Trent Edwards, Kevin Kolb or John Beck later in the draft.

What the lousy raiders shoulda done is gone after David Carr harder signed him. picked up calvin johnson then just work on the O-Line a lot in the draft. But i think if they trade with tampa bay then they're not gonna get quinn or russel i think cuz im sure cleveland wants quinn and the lions would probably go after russel

If they trade, the Buccs will take Johnson, Lions Russell, Browns Peterson, then the Raiders will take Joe Thomas #4. Quinn's falling this year. At least to the Vikings.

Yeah, i think at least one of them would be left. I'm not sure why Tampa would trade up because Calvin Johnson might be available at #4. Oakland needs a QB, Detroit isn't picking another WR, and i think cleveland will pick either a QB or RB

Both. Tampa Bay wants Calvin Johnson big time.

If one would be left on the board, but the Lions and Browns are in desperate need of QB help, so the Raiders would eliminate themselves from taking a signal-caller.

they wont but if they did russel would be gone maybe brady would still be around if the redskins retartedly pass him up. but if they do they should tak troy smith later on in the draft remeber he may be small but he still won the heisman
