That;s right! While president, Bill Clinton signed executive orders signing our national parks over to the control of the United Nations. For all you Democrap nay-sayers, educate yourselves instead of attacking me. I posted this last night and all of the liberal leftist's called it a lie...see for yourselves that Clinton actually did this.

Hey, Henry the 8th Idiot....If what you say is true then why does the UN get all revenue generated by visiting the park? Why does the UN determine the entry fee? Why does the UN disallow the entry to the parks by private vehicle? LOSER!

Leave it to an anti-Clinton idiot to post a story and not even know what the story is really about. Clinton did not give anything away. He allowed for our national parks to be world heritage sites. This brings tourists from other countries to see these things. World heritage sites are found all over the world. The Eiffel Tower, Tower of London, Big Ben, The Great Wall of China are among these sites. If a country wants to destroy their national historic sites the UN would step in to try and prevent it. But that country would not be worth visiting anyway if they are going to do that so it is more symbolic than anything else. We should be proud of our parks and enjoy sharing them with the rest of the world.

Did you actually READ that? It says that we promise to maintain places like the Statue of Liberty and the Washington Monument because they are historically significant to the world. It doesn't give control or power over their use to the United Nations. It's a promise by us to care for designated parks and monuments based on standards agreed upon BY US. If they change those standards, the agreement is null and void.

Considering all the legitimate concerns you could have about liberal politics, this is a really PETTY and CHILDISH thing to whine about - especially since you've misrepresented and misunderstood what it's saying.

One of the greatest presidents of all time, REPUBLICAN Theodore Roosevelt, set aside millions of acres of park land and monuments for protection over 100 years ago.

Educate yourself before going off on childish rants.

I am always amazed at the lack of education and the over abundance of paranoia in the US.
