Spurs won in 2003, 2005 and we probably win in 2007.
They like being the underdog, they will beat easily the Suns in the second round as the Suns can't play any defense and can't guard either Duncan or Parker.
The real nba finals will occur agains the Mavs but I believe that even in a tough 7 game, Spurs will manage to win as Duncan, Parket and Ginobili will be at full strenght this year unlike last year.
As the Heat are falling apart, Pistons are the clear favourite and they don't stand a chance against the Spurs without Ben Wallace.
The champion is on the West and in Texas.

Mavs vs. Detroit. Mavs will win it. They're determined and if they can't win it this year, I don't know who else could possibly win it against them.
And contrary to what a previous answerer said, the Mavs will beat Golden State. The games the Mavs lost and actually tried to win were early games. They didn't matter. The Mavs have experience in the playoffs unlike the Warriors, and they will play much harder in the playoffs than they did in the regular season, which means they will be extremely tough to beat.
NBA Finals- Mavs in 6

I can't really say who will win it right now because it depends on how the certain teams are playing as they advance further into the playoffs. I like the chances of Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston in the finals versus any team from the Eastern Conference.

I really don't know, because all the teams I didn't think would stand a chance have opened my eyes lately like the golden state warriors. My opinion I think the Houston Rockets will win, T-Mac is healthy and so is Yao Ming, Other than that maybe detroit or Dallas Mavericks.

Mavericks win the NBA Championship.....and then you wake up cause they lose to Golden State. Watch, the warriors will become the 2nd #8 seed to knock out a #1 seed.
Here is how it is going to go down for round 1.
West
1) Golden State wins in 7 games
2) Houston Wins in 6 games
3) Spurs win in 6 games
4) Suns win in 6 games
East
1) Pistons win in 6 games
2) Heat win in 6 games
3) Raptors win in 6 games
4) Cavaliers win in 4 games

I think we're all going to be surprised to find the Chicago Bulls taking the Eastern Conference title. In the West, I'm wishing for the Spurs, but I think it just might be the Golden State Warriors.
So, I'm thinking a Bulls-Warriors match-up for the finals, with the Warriors winning.
Just a wild guess on my part

The Spurs will be in & win the Finals. Yes they've lost to Denver once already but they alway make great come backs & they're a great TEAM. The Spurs aren't Ball Hoggers.

It'll be the Pistons & the Suns. That's how I see it right now. But if Dallas do get pass GS in the 1st round, Pistons will play Dallas. I'd go for either Suns or Mavs.

Dirk is hurt, Kobe is hurt, East is a joke...The Suns had the most dominant game in the playoffs by any team so far (game2)...The Suns almost made it last year without Amare, the most dominant individual player in the league. Nash, Stoudemire and Marion are unstoppable.
