In addition to warm water, they should also have some salt inthe water - these live in mudflats where the salinity and pH is higher. They should also have a place where they can get completely out of the water, too.

yes warm water is best preferably 212 degrees is the best temp for you crabs...hope that helps you.

no i very much doubt it, they come from Ceylon where the water is warm, also they are great escape artists, so make shure you have a tight fitting hood.
