no you will be ok. what you may find is that your deposit is higher than normall due to the ban but you obviously get it back when you return the van in the same condition it went out.some hire companies can be difficult about the nature of the van so check before you rent save you alot of hardship.

Doubt it, the normal criteria for hiring a vehicle is that youve held a license for 2 years, and thats about it. Most big companies couldnt care less about anything else as their insurance policies cover pretty much everything anyway.
Youd have to check the print on the contract you sign but I doubt there'd be anything stopping you. Id think at most there will be a tiny extra charge, to "cover administration" which is just another way of getting money off you.

If you are licensed to operate a motor vehicle and insured you are good to go.

Just a wild, crazy idea, maybe, but have you thought of asking the hire company?

I would doubt it, you've paid your dues ,and learned your lesson. If you have your license now, they really can't discriminate against you. I assume your record is clear now.

Good luck
