Because the nature of the position and the fact that they will be drafted by very bad teams both QBs have to considered potential busts but both could be stars...they each have skills that could overcome early problems, Aikman did go 1-15 and was labeled a bust at first....guess a few people were wrong. WR is an easy place to guess bust, 2 or 3 bust nearly every year and leading candidates this year would be Ginn (size issues....not many 173 pound featured receivers in the league) and Jarrett (looks too much like Mike Williams so the pressure is on).

But to move on the big name guys, I can think of 3 that have ? mark all over them:

1. Adrian Peterson, obviously a gifted back...runs far to upright and has an injury history to begin with. If he cant lower his pad level he produces for 2 years max and with the added burden of proving he is tough enough may lead to him taking on an occasional tackler foolishly.

2. Gaines Adams...undersized speed rusher. Has great potential to be the next Freeney or Simien Rice but a lot of teams will run right at him where he may be exposed as too weak to hold up against the run. Now he becomes a 3rd down situational pass rush specialist only...not good for a top 5 pick.

3. Alan Branch...questions about his desire have already likely cost him a million or 2, he has slid from a top 6 or 7 guy to a mid 1st because the motor isnt always going. If playing hard every down to get teams attention for a big check isnt a motivator what is to motivate him after he cashes in?

Obviously we will not get every projection right but of the top guys and not taking the easy way out and saying Quinn or Russell these are the guys that have the most to prove based on the reasons I've mentioned.

This is a tough question to answer because this is not a particulary deep draft in terms of "A-list" talent. A lot of guys are really second round picks that will go in the first round but will be held to the standard of a first round pick. For example, look at Adrian Peterson. Someone will take him in the first round and make him a feature running back and then be disappointed when he fails to rush for 1800 yards every year. So it is going to be difficult to correctly categorize a lot of these players as "busts"

All that being said, my vote for most likely to bust is Brady Quinn. Most likley he will be picked by Cleveland and automatically the entire Cleveland Browns nation will look to him to be the franchise savior. I don't think Quinn has the talent to be a franchise savior, so when he fails to perform, his failures will be magnified. ( See David Carr, Heath Shuler)

Brady quinn has bust written all over him. he may be the most nfl ready QB, but watching notre dame play this pass season quinn really wasnt all that. and Charlie weiss I think got out of Brady as much as possible. I dont think brady can improve much more.

Dwayne jarrett is gonna be a bust as well. He just gonna be another Mike Williams. A big tall USC receiver with no speed.

The ones that lack stamina or heart, or have character issues, are the biggest bust risks, IMHO.

For these and other reasons, potential first-rounders that have bust potential include Alan Branch, Greg Olsen, Amobi Okoye, Dwayne Jarrett and Brandon Merriweather.

Brady Quinn is a given, but here's one:

Calvin Johnson

thats right, i said it. didnt you all hear he admitted to smoking weed? before 4/20? sheesh, what nerve...

holidays aside, i seriously think he will be a bust. regardless how good of an athlete you are, if your QB sucks *** you aint going no where

looking at the top 5 teams in the draft, the odds of him ending up on a team with a decent QB are slim to none

JaMarcus Russell: He has a lot of hype behind him and seems pretty raw as a passer. It also doesn't help that he's going to Oakland.

Brady Quinn: He seems like an ok quarterback but just can't win those big games.

Alan Branch: It looks like he might have some motivational problems and doesn't have a lot of stamina.

Calvin Johnson.

Assuming the Raiders take Russell then Johnson will be the best player left on the board.

Heaven help any receiver left on the board with Matt Millen preparing to draft!

i might probably have a psychological wreck down attempting to compute each and each adult males point of suck so i will in basic terms answer some issues I actual have seen on earlier solutions, Ki-Jana Carter have been given injured, their isn't any actual way in charge him or say it became right into a terrible %.. Akili Smith is in basic terms as undesirable as Myers who went in the Myers-Bledsoe draft, he could not even cut back it in NFL Europe(because it became into called on the time)

a handful, but do not be surprised if Jamarcus Russell, Calvin Jones, A. Peterson have no impact in years one and or two. Sometimes, its the system they are in, they hype is too great and they have nagging injuries.
