We have an albino clawed frog and just about the only thing he is eating is the little goldfish. Anything elso he pretty much ignores. He is about the size of , oh, say, a fifty cent piece, and he can handle blood worms also, but they tend to bloat him. If anyone has one of these aquatic frogs with suggestions, please share.

the small goldfish are perfect for my frog! I feed him 6 a day (yah that many!) and hes lived for 4 years. So if you cannot continue feeding him the goldfish for some reason, try frozen/live brine shrimp, they are easily digestid and are very high in vitamins.
Good Luck!

Be careful feeding small fish and frogs bloodworms. They are known to eat their way out again of the fish. Yuck. Try a little variety in the diet frozen food, veggies, flakes, fish food if everything else fails.

My husband and that i've got 4 african claw frogs. We began off by using feeding them guppies, then as they grew we graduated them as much as small goldfish then as much as larger ones. After that they are going to especially plenty consume despite they choose for along with a number of my admired fishes I had. So whilst introducing them to fish you elect for to maintain make constructive the tank is unquestionably stocked with guppies and/or goldfish. have faith me on that, i assume i've got lost approximately fifty money properly worth of fish i needed to maintain. through fact they'll consume something they might fit of their mouth.

frogs are omnivorous....and some can be picky. Gold fish are okay for him if that's what he likes. Try shrimp pellets or algae wafers. You could also try cucumbers or lettuce. My frogs have always eaten fish food.
