My father in law tells this true story as though it is a great joke, I find it deplorable.
After the birth of her 3rd child, my inlaws were told they should not have more children as her pregnancies were very difficult. He would not allow her to have surgery as it would be risky.
On the day my f-i-l was to get snipped he met a friend and went to the bar instead, never telling his wife. She found out when 4 months later she was pregnant. She went on to have 7 children total the last one nearly killing her and the baby needing a blood transfusion right after birth.
Like I said he tells this story and roars with laughter...what do you all think of his behaviour.
Can you tell this is not my favourite person.

Wow sounds like a couple that could produce a son that has zero respect for women.

This story can be bitter sweet, I guess we would have to know the context in which he is telling the story...is he saying it like he is happy to have all the children or is he bragging that he didn't have the surgery and almost killed the wife, I don't know but I know this is really pissing you off because he is not your favorite person and for some odd reason he gets a kick out of telling the story. The next time he tells the story I would leave the room to let him know that you don't enjoy hear him tell this story repeatedly and I would always leave each time he tells the story. He sound quite repulsive and ignorant.....good luck with him

He is a sneaky, selfish, brutal abusive liar. How's that.
If I was his wife, I would have left him when I got pregnant again. He sure as he*& would have NEVER come near me again.
Talk about sleeping with the enemy! WOW!
I feel really bad for the woman in this relationship because she is abused, and is STILL being abused every time he tells this hideous story and laughs at his wife.
Be sure you don't put up with that behaviour from his son. He learned it at home.

He is your in law so that means you are married to one of his seeds what number is that one so think about it like that, Also ya S%^& happens even though it's not the best story it still is a story..
