NOT a blouse with jeans.

Fashion forward, well cut, designer (vintage even) if you can afford it. A pants suit with a jacket will do, or a skirt and cute blouse with jacket. High heels or boots. You can show a bit more leg or cleavage than you usually would in an interview, but be careful not to cross the line from high fashion to tacky streetwalker.

You can be more outre with your fashion choices in this environment than if you were interviewing with a bank, but you still need to look 100% professional. Hang around outside the building for a while and check out what the other workers are wearing. Or you could always watch "Ugly Betty" reruns, or rent "The Devil Wears Prada" - that would give you an idea of the look.

Best of luck.

My general opinion is to wear the suit. I'd say there are a few things to consider. What position you're applying for? Mail room? Well, the blouse and jeans are probably okay then. If it's anything more substantial, then I'd say wear the suit. Is the interview a ways off (a few days or more), and is the location reasonably close to your home? If so, why not just drive there and walk in? Take a look and see how the folks who work there are dressed. But even if they are all wearing jeans, you are going there for an interview. You are trying to sell yourself to them. You want them to take you seriously so act like it. Dress up. It's always better to overdress than underdress. It shows them that you take their company and the interview seriously.

it depends on what position you are applying for...

they always say, dress for the job you dream, not for the job you have... but you must think that formal ie. a black suit is never wrong. A blouse with jeans seems a little too casual but I don't know what you are aiming at (seems like a model's outfit if you ask me).

one piece of advice I can give you is: go to that office if you can a few days before the interview, see what other girls are wearing to work and then you can be sure you'll be ok.

cheers

You can never be overdressed for an interview, a suit shoes that you are taking seriously. But just fashion-it-up. I work for a fashion retailer (one of the best) and I recently interviewed a woman who came in a really nice black suit which she had teamed up with a thick red belt and killer red heels. She looked amazing, the thick belt was very on-trend as it was quite fetishy, but you took her seriously as an applicant. I would much rather see that than jeans and a blouse.

No dont wear jeans! Even if it's a laid back company it doesnt matter. You have to make a good impression and you want to look professional and smart. Try and wear high heels which arent too fussy (over the top) and either wear a plain smart trouser suit or skirt suit or a plain dress. You dont want to look tatty, you want to look groomed. So make sure your make up and hair is done nicely as well.

Always wear a suit to an interview. Preferably a pants suit.

Wear something that you are comfortable in and that you feel confident in - as when you wear clothes that you don't feel confident in then you probably won't seem confident. Think about what image (ie. confident, tidy, and professional) you want to give and wear the clothes you think reflect that image and you will find yourself actually being that person that you want them to think that you are. But also be yourself and dont' wear anything that you would not wear normally as they might expect you to keep it up, but they do expect you to dress up a bit on your interview. Wear something fashionable as well but not too extreem. Hope it goes ok!!

Make sure you were a suit, either skirt or trousers with a tailored jacket.

Make sure the blouse is pressed neatly.

Make sure your hair is neat and shiny, preferably tied back.

Make sure your make up is flawless and subtle.

Make sure you look smart especially if it is a fashion agency you want to work for.

It is like being an unattractive beauty consultant!

All the best.
