im trying to recall a movie ive wanted to see for quite sometime now. i remember seeing a preview in theaters in 2006. i think the movie has eiijia wood in it. its of a boy in high school who is in a coma or something and he is telling his girlfriend how to find him.

The movie you're describing is the Invisible but its not old at all. You mentioned "Quite some time" so I automatically thought is was old. But it does not feature Elijah Wood. the main actor there is Justin Chatwin. "The Invicible" theatrical release dateis 04/27/2007.
