There are holding screw drivers that will trap the head of the screw and help you get it out. They also make screw drivers that have long handles to help you reach the deep screws. Good luck

Some are tamper resistant. First look down with a flashlight to see the screw head type. Often it's a phillips head screw. Start off with the best phillips head screwdriver you can buy. Match the size and press hard to keep the bit from slipping. Of course the typical problem is a slipping bit that causes the screw head to round off so that there's no gripping power left. A longer shaft screw driver gives you more torque removal power to remove the screw more easily. Turn a little at a time to keep from rounding the head of the screw.
